Education and career

I see every new job as an opportunity to grow; every project under my belt, a piece in a continually evolving jigsaw.

My love of foreign languages, language teaching and visits abroad fuelled my curiosity, sparking an interest in lifelong learning. Through this approach, I have taken a host of tests and university examinations and achieved many language certificates, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting (2006) and a Master’s Degree in Language Sciences (2016).

The attention to quality and sense of responsibility with which I go about my daily work reflect the many years of experience I have as a proofreader, translator and language adviser. I set out on this path in 2007 and have been working in a number of language pairs with the aid of computer-assisted translation software - such as SDL Trados Studio - ever since.
